Who

Carl is a lecturer at the department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Pretoria who is frantically trying to complete his PhD before the end of the year. He is a Linux user and advocate who knows the difference between Free Software and Open Source and has been Windows-free since 2003, although he uses a Mac laptop. His hobbies include obsessing about the existence of free will, reading, brewing beer, playing the guitar and learning new programming languages.
